Full-Time Baker

About the role

COBS Bread is seeking a full-time baker to join its friendly bakery team. You will help produce fresh breads and pastries that meet the company’s high standards of quality and freshness, working early-morning shifts in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods following company recipes and quality standards.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the bakery.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage production schedules to keep fresh products available daily.

Required profile

• Willingness to work early morning shifts (starting between midnight and 4 am).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and food-safety standards.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 22 kg and perform repetitive tasks.
• Prior bakery experience is an asset, but enthusiastic learners are welcome.

Required skills

• Food Safe certification (asset).
• Basic First Aid certification (asset).
