About the role
The Breakfast Associate works in the breakfast area of Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Kitimat, BC. Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, the role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests during early‑morning service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly service at the breakfast station.
- Keep the breakfast area free of debris and ensure all equipment is operational.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by adhering to brand presentation standards for food displays.
- Enforce safety and security procedures, including key control and reporting suspicious activity.
- Write maintenance notices for equipment needing repair or replacement.
- Assist with ordering and stocking supplies needed for efficient breakfast service.
- Follow vendor recommendations and local food‑safety codes.
- Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of experience in a customer‑service‑oriented role.
- Previous host/hostess experience is an asset.
- Team‑player attitude with strong communication skills.
