Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Citylitics is building an AI‑driven platform that delivers predictive intelligence for infrastructure investments across North America. As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain both backend services and dynamic web front‑ends that power real‑time market signals for utilities, engineering firms, and construction companies.

Key responsibilities

• Apply data‑modeling techniques to design and optimise databases and APIs.
• Write efficient SQL queries to analyse and validate large datasets.
• Draft design documents and deliver technical demos for stakeholders.
• Translate product behaviour into backend and frontend implementations with accurate complexity estimates.
• Produce clean, well‑tested, and well‑documented code.
• Reduce technical debt while supporting product initiatives and adopting emerging best practices.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience building full‑stack web applications.
• Strong ability to define data models, develop robust backend APIs, and integrate them into dynamic front‑ends.
• Excellent written and oral communication for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
• Motivated, data‑driven mindset with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
