Full-Stack JavaScript Developer

About the role

Scotiabank is looking for a Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to join a purpose-driven, high-performing team. You will work on challenging projects, collaborating with developers, architects and business analysts to deliver secure, enterprise-grade applications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and oversee development efforts to ensure successful code delivery.
• Provide technical leadership through coaching and mentorship of teammates.
• Maintain high software quality by establishing best practices and secure coding standards.
• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts and architects to plan, design, develop, test and maintain applications.
• Design, develop and unit-test applications in line with established standards.
• Work with Delivery Leads and Business Systems Analysts to articulate effort estimates.
• Champion a customer-focused culture and contribute to an inclusive, high-performance environment.

Required profile

• 2+ years of progressive experience as a full-stack developer in the IT industry.
• Up-to-date with industry best practices and secure coding techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time-management and ability to handle multiple assignments.
