Front End Clerk – Part‑Time Cashier (Daytime)

About the role
Join FreshCo’s front‑end team in Victoria, BC, delivering friendly, professional service to grocery shoppers during daytime shifts. As a part‑time cashier you’ll handle transactions, maintain the cash drawer, and support the front‑end department.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer in line with company policies and procedures.
- Operate the Customer Service Desk handling lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns and customer inquiries.
- Keep the Front End Department merchandise organized and stocked.
- Participate in training and mentoring junior staff members.
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards and procedures.
- Support additional departments and functions with other duties as required.
Required profile
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced retail environment.
