Front End Application Developer

About the role

RBC is seeking an experienced Front End Application Developer to join its Commercial Banking Platforms team. You will work in an Agile environment, delivering innovative integration solutions that shape the future of the bank’s application portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable front‑end solutions using React and Node.js.
• Build and maintain applications that support business platforms.
• Collaborate within an Agile team across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Create containerised applications for deployment on OpenShift.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in front‑end application development.
• Strong working knowledge of React and experience building complex, industry‑grade applications.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenShift or GCP.
• Nice‑to‑have experience with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and proficiency in Node.js.
