Food Counter Attendant (Full‑time)

About the role

Join Taco Time Canada as a Food Counter Attendant in Winnipeg. You will work on‑site in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, providing friendly service and maintaining a clean, well‑stocked counter area.

Key responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, chairs and load buspans.
• Operate commercial dishwashers and hand‑wash items as needed.
• Replenish condiments, supplies and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customer orders, portion, wrap and package take‑out food.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items using manual and electrical appliances.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas and equipment.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies, and manage kitchen garbage.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years experience in a food‑service or hospitality role.
• Availability for shift or on‑call work and ability to start on the posted date.
• Willingness to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Operating commercial dishwashers.
• Using manual and electric food‑preparation equipment.
