Floral Merchandiser (Part‑Time, Independent Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Floral Merchandiser to work as an independent contractor at our Etobicoke and Mississauga retail locations. The role involves visiting stores 2‑3 times per week to maintain and refresh floral displays, ensuring they are attractive, well‑stocked, and properly priced.

Key responsibilities

• Visit two assigned store locations 2‑3 times weekly to maintain and refresh floral displays.
• Organize, condense, and care for floral arrangements, including watering and general plant care.
• Keep the display area clean and tidy, disposing of trash and ensuring organization.
• Verify that all floral products are correctly priced with visible labels.
• Submit detailed call reports after each visit documenting display condition, inventory, and actions taken.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift and handle floral products.
• Reliable transportation to travel between store locations.
