Financial Reporting Analyst

About the role

Treewalk is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join its growing advisory practice. This permanent, remote‑first position supports public‑company clients across a range of industries, helping them meet their financial reporting obligations while gaining exposure to IPO processes and valuation work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare draft annual and quarterly financial statements and accompanying Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) for client filings.
• Assist in IPO planning, prospectus preparation, and related disclosure activities.
• Research and interpret accounting policies, providing clear recommendations to clients.
• Support ERP implementation projects, cost accounting, budgeting, and financial projections.
• Coordinate and contribute to client valuation engagements.

Required profile

• Professional accounting background with strong public‑company reporting experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Interest in advancing toward senior advisory or CFO roles through training.
