Accounting Co‑op Student (Full‑Time, 4‑Month Placement)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accounting Co‑op Student to join D&H Group LLP for a four‑month, full‑time placement in Vancouver. The role provides hands‑on experience in public accounting, tax preparation and client service within a supportive CPA firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Canadian personal income tax returns and related documentation.
• Support senior staff, managers and partners on various accounting and tax engagements.
• Communicate with clients to gather required information and documentation.
• Assist with bookkeeping and accounting tasks for businesses and professional proprietorships.
• Organise and maintain client files and supporting documents.

Required profile

• Enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an Accounting program.
• Strong interest in accounting, taxation or public practice; completion of a Canadian Tax course preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
