Financial Controller – Major Projects Division

About the role
Pomerleau is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead accounting, tax compliance, and monthly financial reporting for its Major Projects division. You will consolidate financial statements, oversee project budgeting, and support continuous improvement of financial processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present consolidated balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements each month.
- Oversee bookkeeping, invoice processing, and internal financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with corporate tax obligations.
- Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis for all major projects.
- Analyze project‑related financial data and monitor overhead costs.
- Contribute to the enhancement of financial systems and ERP implementation.
- Provide guidance and support to project‑based finance teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, or Business Administration.
- CPA designation.
- At least 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Proven leadership ability to mobilize and engage teams.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency with SAP ERP (experience with ERP implementation is a plus).
