About the role

Join BrainBox AI, a fast‑growing digital solutions team within Trane Technologies, as a Financial Controller. You will lead accounting operations, support strategic finance initiatives and contribute to sustainable climate technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including order‑to‑cash and procure‑to‑pay cycles.
• Supervise a team of 3‑4 staff handling billing, accounts payable and general accounting.
• Review customer contracts and invoices to ensure correct billing, sales‑tax application and revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP.
• Approve supplier invoices, ensuring proper recording and compliance with delegation of authority.
• Maintain the general ledger by preparing, reviewing and posting journal entries.
• Lead month‑end close activities and verify supporting documentation.
• Participate in finance projects that drive impact for the business and sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of business cycles and accounting principles.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Reliable and engaged professional with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• US GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience with order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, billing and accounts payable processes.
• General ledger management and month‑end close expertise.
