Finance Manager – FP&A (PPD)

About the role
L'Oréal is seeking a Finance Manager to lead FP&A activities for its Professional Products Division (PPD) in Canada. You will act as a strategic business partner, providing financial clarity and analytical rigor to support faster decision‑making across all brands and functions.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and consolidate financial data for business sharing sessions, ensuring transparency and alignment across brand and functional teams.
- Prepare and present deep‑dive financial analyses for the Management Committee, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Own the P&L, monitor performance against targets, identify variances, investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze gross‑margin drivers (price, mix, volume) and model opportunities to protect and enhance profitability.
- Deliver monthly Flash presentations that combine rigorous analysis with compelling storytelling.
- Lead the end‑to‑end monthly closing process, guaranteeing accuracy, timeliness and completeness of reporting.
- Oversee Net Sales and Profit tracking within the CAREX framework, providing early‑warning signals and recommendations.
- Drive the annual forecast process across all PPD Canada brands, challenging assumptions and stress‑testing scenarios.
Required profile
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Several years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably within a multinational consumer‑goods environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
- Fluency in English; French is a plus.
