About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Farm Supervisor to lead our blueberry production at Bath Blueberry Farms in Abbotsford. You will oversee daily field operations, ensure high-quality harvests and manage a small team of farm workers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide agricultural crop services including plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying and harvesting blueberries.
- Coordinate and supervise 3-4 general farm workers and seasonal labourers.
- Maintain quality control, production records, work logs and logs of farm activities.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school) required.
- 2-3 years of experience in blueberry or similar fruit farming.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, dusty, hot and noisy outdoor environment.
- Excellent written communication, organized and a strong team player.
Required skills
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Perform irrigation system management and crop cultivation techniques.
- Maintain quality control and production record-keeping.
