Family Physician – Private Practice Clinic

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our private practice clinic. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, managing both acute and chronic conditions, and promoting overall wellness within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Collect medical histories from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Examine patients to diagnose diseases, injuries, and health concerns.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and provide vaccinations.
• Collaborate with other medical practitioners to assess physical and mental health.
• Report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other public health information to authorities.
• Provide acute care management, emergency care, and counseling to patients and families.
• Coordinate and manage ongoing primary patient care.

Required profile

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or equivalent.
