About the role
The Pharmacist I will join the pharmacy team at Chinook Regional Hospital, delivering safe, effective, and efficient pharmaceutical services to patients. You will manage medication therapy, address drug‑related problems, and support compounding and packaging activities in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute medications while ensuring safety and compliance.
- Manage initial and ongoing medication therapy for in‑patients.
- Identify, assess, and resolve potential or actual drug‑related issues.
- Oversee compounding, packaging, and related pharmacy operations.
- Provide on‑call support and work varied shift patterns, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
- Current, provisional, or transferable registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacist.
- Ability to work a 7.75‑hour shift within a 12‑week cycle, covering 60 shifts per cycle.
