Family Physician – Primary Care Provider

About the role

Bridge City Mediclinic Ltd is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join its private practice in Saskatoon. You will provide comprehensive primary care, support healthy lifestyles, and act as a patient advocate within a collaborative clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and review medical information from patients, families, and other health professionals.
• Examine patients to diagnose diseases, injuries, and health conditions.
• Order laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostics to guide treatment.
• Consult with specialists to evaluate physical and mental health.
• Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and provide vaccinations.
• Offer health advice, counseling, and lifestyle coaching.
• Supervise clinic staff and coordinate primary patient care.
• Deliver acute and emergency care, including pain management and palliative support.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, DDS, DVM, or OD) with licensure by provincial authorities.
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and LMCC.
• Successful completion of MCCQE I & II.
• 3–5 years of family medicine experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to work flexible hours, including on‑call shifts.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
