Family Physician – Primary Care (Full/Part‑Time/Locum)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Family Physician to join our community clinic in Ontario. The physician will provide comprehensive primary‑care and walk‑in services to patients of all ages, supporting preventive health and chronic disease management.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations and medical assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide preventive care such as vaccinations and health screenings.
• Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests including blood work, imaging and ECGs.
• Collaborate with specialists and allied health professionals for referrals and coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records in compliance with Ontario health regulations.
• Stay current with continuing medical education and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD/MBBS) from an accredited institution.
• Licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (or eligibility).
• Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or equivalent.
• Current medical liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or rural medicine.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic test results.
• Vaccination administration.
