Family Physician Locum – Full/Part‑time in Vernon, Canada

About the role

We are seeking a family physician to join a custom‑built, fully equipped two‑FTE practice in downtown Vernon. The position can be full‑time, part‑time or shared between two physicians and runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary‑care services to an existing patient roster (50‑60 patients per day).
• Conduct in‑office procedures such as EKG, spirometry, Holter monitoring, urine drug testing, strep testing and minor surgeries.
• Offer telephone consultations, including coverage of holidays.
• Maintain accurate billing and documentation using the MedAccess EMR system.

Required profile

• Licensed family physician with experience in primary‑care practice.
• Comfortable working independently or in a job‑share arrangement.
• Willingness to manage a high‑volume patient list.
