About the role
Medicentres is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join its private practice clinic in Lethbridge. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary care, promoting healthy habits, and coordinating patient treatment plans.
Key responsibilities
- Collect medical information from patients, families, or other healthcare professionals.
- Examine patients to identify diseases and injuries.
- Order laboratory tests, X‑rays and other diagnostic procedures to determine appropriate treatment.
- Prescribe and administer medications, vaccinations and other therapies.
- Provide acute and emergency care, as well as counselling and support to patients and their families.
Required profile
- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).
