Experienced Hairstylist (3-5 yrs) – Full-time

About the role

Salon Freyja is seeking a skilled hairstylist to join its team in Montréal on a full‑time, term or contract basis. You will work in a vibrant salon environment, providing high‑quality hair services to a diverse clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cutting, styling, coloring, and finishing services for clients.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.
• Offer personalized consultations and product recommendations.
• Manage appointment schedules, including evenings, days, and weekends.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross‑cultural awareness programs.

Required profile

• 3 to less than 5 years of professional hairstyling experience.
• Trade certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to an inclusive, welcoming workplace for newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous peoples, and mature workers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in modern cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of salon tools and products.
• Excellent client communication and service orientation.
