About the role

Hammerco is seeking a seasoned estate‑litigation professional with 6‑10+ years of experience to create and lead a self‑sustaining practice. You will work in a modern, flexible environment that values respect, authenticity, excellence, and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead an independent estate‑litigation practice with strong firm support.
• Manage complex estates, wills variation disputes, undue influence claims, and related matters both independently and collaboratively.
• Mentor junior lawyers and staff, shaping strategy and contributing to the firm’s “human first, lawyer second” ethos.
• Combine business development, client support, and high‑calibre litigation work in a forward‑looking setting.

Required profile

• 6+ years of estate‑litigation experience (more is better); commercial litigation experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop and sustain a book of business.
• Subject‑matter expertise in complex and contentious estate matters.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and collaborative mindset.
