Enterprise Architect

About the role

BCI’s Technology team is expanding its enterprise architecture practice to support the modernization of one of Canada’s largest institutional investors. Based in Victoria (with Vancouver as an alternative location), you will work closely with Technology Solution Managers and business partners to define patterns, roadmaps, and standards that enable digital transformation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to design and evolve enterprise‑wide architecture frameworks.
• Develop and maintain roadmaps that align technology initiatives with BCI’s investment and ESG objectives.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language for diverse audiences.
• Facilitate consensus building and drive adoption of architectural standards across multiple teams.
• Support the modernization of platforms that power investment analysis, portfolio management, risk assessment, trade processing, and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture within large, complex organizations.
• Strong communication skills, able to adapt technical depth to business and technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on building consensus rather than dictating solutions.
• Experience in financial services or asset management is a plus.
