Energy Specialist (Engineering)

About the role

Metergy is seeking an Energy Specialist to join its Commercial Services team. In this role you will support the delivery of utility submetering and cost‑allocation reporting across a large commercial portfolio, while building deep expertise in metering, billing and data analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of submetering solutions for electricity, water, gas and thermal energy.
• Prepare and deliver accurate cost‑allocation reports for commercial clients.
• Develop and refine technical submetering solutions and real‑time metering processes.
• Analyze utility consumption data to identify trends and opportunities for energy savings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless meter installation and data integration.

Required profile

• Educational background in engineering, energy management, or a related analytical field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of delivering precise reports.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients.
