Emergency Medicine Physician – Langley, BC

About the role

Join a dedicated team of physicians to launch a brand‑new Emergency Department in Langley, British Columbia. The position is full‑time and offers the opportunity to serve a rapidly growing community within a 200‑bed, full‑service hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including ICU, surgery, pediatrics, and other specialties.
• Participate in the development of departmental protocols and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic services such as CT and MRI as needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree with eligibility for a full CPSBC license (or provisional/eligible).
• Board certifications or qualifications such as FRCP, CCCFP, EM.
• Experience in a high‑volume emergency setting is preferred.
• Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and community health.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL)
