Emergency Medicine Physician (Full/Part‑Time)

About the role

Mission Memorial Hospital is seeking a full‑time and/or part‑time physician with a CCFP designation (with or without additional Emergency Medicine training) and experience working in an emergency department. The role is within a physician‑run community hospital that sees approximately 30,000 emergency visits each year.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 emergency care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with a team of general practitioners and EM‑certified physicians.
• Participate in the assessment and transition of patients to the 20‑bed PATH unit or hospice care as needed.
• Utilize on‑site diagnostic services including X‑ray, ultrasound and CT imaging.

Required profile

• CCFP credential, with or without additional Emergency Medicine training.
• Current CPSBC registration (US‑certified class acceptable).
• Demonstrated experience in an emergency department setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in emergency clinical assessment and management.
• Ability to interpret on‑site imaging (X‑ray, ultrasound, CT).
