Emergency Medicine Physician (Full/Part Time)

About the role

The Mission Department of Emergency Medicine is looking for a full‑time and/or part‑time physician (CCFP with or without additional EM training) who has experience working in an emergency department. You will join a physician‑run community hospital that provides 24/7 emergency services to roughly 30,000 patients each year.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver acute emergency care to patients in a busy 24/7 ED.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced family physicians and EM‑certified doctors.
• Participate in patient assessment and transition activities within the PATH unit when needed.
• Utilise on‑site diagnostic services such as x‑ray, ultrasound and CT scanning.

Required profile

• CCFP certification (College of Family Physicians of Canada).
• Emergency department experience.
• Optional additional EM training is acceptable.
• CPSBC US‑class registration is acceptable.
