Emergency Medicine Physician – Full Time, Langley, BC

About the role

Fraser Health is expanding its new Emergency Department in Langley, BC and is seeking five full‑time Emergency Medicine physicians. You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering acute care to a rapidly growing community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical assessment, treatment, and disposition for a high‑volume patient population.
• Collaborate with nursing, allied health, and specialist teams to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, trauma response, and departmental quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Utilize hospital diagnostic services, including CT and MRI, to support clinical decision‑making.
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship of trainees and junior staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree and eligibility for a full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (e.g., FRCP, CCFP).
• Current certification in EMACLS, ATLS, and PALSC.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and teamwork in a busy, urban hospital.

Required skills

• EMACLS (Emergency Medicine Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
• ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
