About the role

We are seeking a board‑certified Emergency Medicine or Family Practice physician to provide 24/7 Emergency Room coverage at Dawson Creek and District Hospital. The position offers a full‑time, fee‑for‑service model with generous incentives and a supportive community environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality emergency care to over 22,000 annual visits.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the hospital’s acute‑care, ICU, and surgical services.
• Maintain accurate billing and documentation under a minimal‑overhead model.
• Optionally participate in office or additional hospital duties as desired.

Required profile

• Medical degree with eligibility for USA licensure (accepted) and Canadian practice.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice.
• Willingness to work in a rural Canadian setting.
• Commitment to fee‑for‑service billing structure.

• Base remuneration of $350,000+ CAD per year (fee‑for‑service).
• 23.10% MSP retention premium, REEF, and $35,798.40 annual flat fee.
