Electrical Quality Control Inspector (Nuclear)

About the role

The Electrical Quality Control Inspector (Nuclear) will be based in Pickering and report to the QC Manager. This role ensures daily inspections, testing and documentation meet Black & McDonald’s QA standards while maintaining the highest safety and quality levels.

Key responsibilities

• Perform receipt, in‑process and final inspections and tests, documenting results in accordance with Black & McDonald QA programs.
• Coordinate QC activities, including interfacing with clients and subcontractors, and ensure correct work sign‑off.
• Identify and control non‑conforming items and support implementation of the Quality Management System.

Required profile

• Change orientation, problem solving, innovation, teamwork and collaboration.
• Minimum two years of post‑secondary technical education.
• At least ten years of construction trades experience with five years in QA/QC, including non‑conformance control and inspection test plan generation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel).
