Dishwasher – Restaurant Kitchen

About the role

We are looking for a reliable dishwasher to join the team at Cliff House Restaurant, located in the iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in Vancouver. The role supports the kitchen by ensuring all dishes, glassware and cooking equipment are cleaned to the highest standards, contributing to a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload the industrial dishwasher, verifying cleanliness of each item.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen, walk‑in cooler and storage areas.
• Assist the Head Chef and line cooks with basic kitchen tasks as needed.
• Handle waste removal, recycling and garbage according to store procedures.
• Follow opening and closing checklists, including stock of dishes and utensils.
• Adhere to HACCP and Food Safe protocols at all times.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a strong desire to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 20 lb and using a step ladder.

Required skills

• Food Safe Level 1 certification (asset).
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Experience operating an industrial dishwasher.
