Dishwasher – Full‑Time Restaurant Role

About the role

Join the Outback family as a Dishwasher and help deliver an AUS‑SOME dining experience. This hourly, non‑exempt position works in a fast‑paced restaurant environment, supporting smooth kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Keep dishwashing areas organized and ensure a steady flow of clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Operate the commercial dish machine, manage chemicals, and follow proper water‑change procedures.
• Restock the kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift.
• Perform routine cleaning of the kitchen, floors, and work surfaces, keeping them dry and safe.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health‑regulation guidelines.
• Assist with general cleaning tasks and support other restaurant areas when required.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of back‑of‑house experience in a full‑service restaurant (preferred).
• Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lb and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Comfort working in hot and cold environments and performing frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Understanding of commercial dish‑machine operation and related chemicals.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manual dexterity for handling glassware, utensils, and equipment.
