About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide assistance to children with mental health disabilities in Ajax, ON. The role involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting and supporting clients, and offers early‑morning, evening and on‑call shifts. This part‑time position may lead to full‑time employment.
Required profile
- Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to communicate in Tagalog.
- 1–2 years experience supporting children with mental health disabilities.
- Physically demanding work; able to lift 45‑60 kg (100‑132 lb).
- Personal qualities: client‑focused, dependable, initiative‑taking, good judgement, organized, reliable, team‑player, patient, honest.
- Availability for early‑morning, evening, flexible hours and on‑call shifts.
