About the role
The school is seeking a Director of People & Culture to lead strategic and operational HR functions for a values‑driven K‑12 community. This senior position sits at the leadership table and partners closely with senior executives to shape workforce strategy, culture, and employee experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with the school’s mission and growth objectives.
- Oversee employee relations, investigations, accommodations, and disability management.
- Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Design and manage compensation philosophy, total rewards, and benefits programs.
- Coach leaders on performance management, leadership development, and change initiatives.
- Integrate equity, inclusion, and belonging into all people practices.
- Drive organizational development and change‑management projects.
Required profile
- 7–10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in employee relations and employment law.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cultural change.
- CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.
- Experience in education or highly relational environments is an asset.
