Director of Operations & Supply Chain

About the role

Summit Water is looking for an experienced Director of Operations & Supply Chain to drive operational excellence across its growing portfolio of water‑treatment products and services. This senior leader will combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution to improve efficiency, support growth and enhance service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise operations across production, supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
• Design and implement strategies that boost productivity, reduce costs and improve overall performance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, standardise processes and create scalable workflows across multiple divisions.
• Enhance inventory, purchasing and logistics functions to sustain business expansion.
• Upgrade operational systems, reporting and ERP processes for better visibility and decision‑making.
• Partner with sales, finance and service leaders to align operational priorities with corporate goals.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.

Required profile

• 8+ years of leadership experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Proven track record of improving processes, increasing efficiencies and leading transformational change.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using KPIs and operational planning.
• Hands‑on leadership style capable of strategic thinking and day‑to‑day execution.
• Experience managing multiple teams or departments in complex settings.

Required skills

• Strong experience with ERP systems.
• Proven ability to lead Lean and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Data‑driven decision‑making using operational metrics.
