Director of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Finance to join Trophy Foods in Mississauga. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function and partner with the Controller to provide timely, accurate financial insights that support our growth and cost‑management agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the CFO on financial strategy, business performance and risk management.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting to the Board of Directors.
• Build and develop the FP&A team to identify growth opportunities, margin enhancement and process improvements.
• Translate corporate strategy into actionable financial plans, budgets and performance metrics.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve profitability, cash flow and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial data and compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership, preferably within manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with a proven track record of driving cost control and margin improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
