Director, Corporate Controller – North America

About the role

The Director, Corporate Controller will lead all financial reporting and controllership activities for IPEX across North America. Reporting to the CFO, this senior finance professional will ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies and regulatory requirements while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all North American entities.
• Lead technical accounting research, develop position papers and ensure accurate IFRS application.
• Manage external audit processes, acting as primary liaison with audit partners.
• Maintain robust internal control environments, governance policies and authorization matrices.
• Oversee integration of accounting operations for newly acquired companies.
• Monitor IFRS and regulatory changes, update policies and train finance teams.
• Drive automation, standardisation and digital finance initiatives to improve data quality and efficiency.
• Provide financial governance for major capital projects and investment decisions.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior controllership or reporting roles.
• Proven ability to lead large finance teams and manage complex, multi‑entity environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
