Dining Room Attendant – Rotational Full‑Time on MV Isabelle

About the role

The Dining Room Attendant provides friendly, professional service to residents aboard the MV Isabelle X/Saga‑Company vessels operating out of Squamish, BC. This is a rotational, full‑time position lasting three years with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver courteous, engaging service to guests in the dining room.
• Assist galley crew with food preparation and service flow.
• Answer resident questions about menu items and provide helpful recommendations.
• Set up and maintain side stations and dining area according to standards.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and outlet policies when handling food, beverages, and cleaning.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dining Room Supervisor.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, kneel, and use ladders or stairs during shifts.

Required skills

• Valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety certificate.
• Crowd and Crisis Management certificate.
• Marine medical certificate (employer will support and subsidize).

What we offer

• Hourly wage ranging from CAD 20.00 to CAD 30.00.
