Designer, Paper & Packaging (6‑month Contract)

About the role

Indigo is seeking a creative Designer specialized in paper and packaging to develop original graphics for its private‑label products. This six‑month contract position works within the Design Studio team and collaborates closely with cross‑functional partners to ensure the Indigo brand is expressed consistently and compellingly.

Key responsibilities

• Design unique, original graphics for paper products and packaging, adhering to brand guidelines.
• Present concepts and final designs to internal teams, executive leaders, and external suppliers.
• Work with design leaders, merchant teams, artists, and suppliers to move artwork from concept through production launch.
• Develop creative concepts that meet project objectives and support existing visual standards.
• Manage graphics from inception to final product, including resizing and reformatting for various collections.
• Support sourcing and ensure successful rollout of creative concepts.

Required profile

• Portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design work for paper or packaging.
• Ability to create impactful, brand‑aligned artwork.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional partners.
• Attention to detail and commitment to on‑time, on‑spec delivery.
