Dental Laboratory Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Dental Laboratory Assistant to join Bespoke Denture Clinic in Victoria. You will work in a fast‑paced dental practice supporting the denturist in the creation and finishing of full and partial dentures as well as orthodontic appliances. The role requires a high level of precision and a commitment to delivering quality dental prosthetics.

Key responsibilities

• Mould wax over denture set‑ups and prepare wax bite‑blocks and impression trays.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Finish metal frameworks and assemble denture components.
• Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
• Polish and buff completed dentures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lab area and ensure proper storage of materials.

Required profile

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a repetitive, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team player who is reliable and accurate.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying workload.
• Good judgement to prioritize tasks.
