About the role

The UBC Sauder School of Business is seeking a Data Analyst to join its IT & Analytics team. In this role you will support data management and analytics initiatives that drive evidence‑based decision‑making across academic and operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Source and manage data from multiple systems‑of‑record, including databases and application APIs.
• Clean, transform, and prepare trusted, analytics‑ready datasets for internal stakeholders.
• Develop clear and impactful visualizations to communicate insights.
• Enable self‑service reporting and support data governance processes.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and institutional analytics teams to understand data needs.

Required profile

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, computer science, economics).
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and handling large datasets.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills
