Customer Service Representative - Dispatch

About the role

As a Fixed Term Dispatch Customer Service Representative, you will handle incoming calls, emails and fax requests from consumers about Irving Energy products and services, aiming to deliver an excellent consumer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales leads and develop new customers.
• Provide point‑of‑contact service, verify and update customer accounts, troubleshoot basic issues, and manage escalations.
• Take orders for heating oil and propane deliveries and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain ownership of the consumer experience while working professionally.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or post‑secondary education preferred.
• 1‑3 years of contact‑center experience.

Required skills

• Strong communication and rapport‑building abilities.
• Problem‑solving, decision‑making and multitasking skills.
• Computer literacy, good organizational and analytical skills.
