Customer Experience Leader – Airport Store

About the role

The Customer Experience Leader (CEL) is a member of the store's leadership team at an Indigo store located inside Edmonton International Airport. The role leads work that contributes to the store's operations and customer experience, supporting the retail strategic initiatives and helping achieve the store's sales plans and profitability goals. It is a part-time position open to current Indigo employees applying through internal mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the store leadership team to build a customer-centric culture, covering both physical and online channels
• Manage the opening and closing of the store, daily operations, customer experience, visual standards and sales targets
• Keep the team informed about products, promotions and programs
• Plan, prioritize and execute the work of the team
• Oversee facilities, maintenance, health and safety and loss prevention on the shift led
• Lead a story-telling culture, practice feedback and coaching, and take part in talent calibration and talent management
• Work cross-functionally and foster an inclusive, safe and trusting workplace

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service, merchandising or operations
• Demonstrated commitment to an exceptional employee and customer experience
• Experience leading others
• Good business acumen, ability to prioritize, plan and execute, and knowledge of provincial health and safety standards
• Ability to lift medium to large items (up to 40 pounds) safely
• Minimum 25 hours per week availability, including evenings, weekends, early mornings and holidays
