Credit Counsellor (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Credit Counsellor to join our hybrid team in New Westminster. You will guide clients through financial challenges, helping them understand their situation and find sustainable debt‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess clients' income, expenses and debt obligations to create a clear financial picture.
• Develop personalized strategies and options for debt reduction and repayment.
• Provide ongoing support through our Debt Management Program, including interest relief where applicable.
• Answer client questions, follow up regularly, and ensure progress toward financial stability.

Required profile

• Strong desire to assist individuals facing debt and financial stress.
• Excellent communication and empathy skills.
• Commitment to complete the Certified Financial Counsellor (CFC) certification within the first year of employment.
