About the role
The University seeks a dedicated tutor to provide one‑on‑one support for the ORGB 423 course. The tutor will work directly with students, helping them understand course concepts and succeed academically. Candidates must have solid background knowledge of the subject matter and be authorized to work in Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individualized tutoring sessions for ORGB 423 students.
- Explain course material, clarify doubts, and reinforce learning objectives.
- Prepare and organize tutoring resources and practice exercises.
- Maintain records of tutoring hours and student progress.
- Follow McGill University policies and uphold equity and diversity standards.
Required profile
- Demonstrated knowledge of the ORGB 423 subject area.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work on the McGill campus in Quebec.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage scheduled tutoring sessions.
