About the role
We are seeking a Course Lecturer to teach Visual Communication 1 (URBP 609) for the School of Urban Planning. The role involves delivering a 1‑credit module on visual representation of spatial and urban data, hand rendering, and graphic communication to professional planning audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and studio sessions on Tuesdays from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
- Prepare and present course materials covering basics of visual representation, hand rendering techniques, and graphic communication principles.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a supportive learning environment for diverse student groups.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in architecture or urban design (PhD preferred).
- Professional experience in architecture, community design, or urban planning.
- Prior studio teaching experience in a Montreal setting.
