About the role
The Department of Economics at McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer to teach ECON 305-001 Industrial Organization during the Winter 2027 term. The course examines industry structure, conduct, and performance, covering topics such as mergers, barriers to entry, vertical integration, and R&D policies. Lectures are scheduled on Fridays from 11:35 am to 2:25 pm, running from January 5 to April 14, 2027, in room RPHYS 118. The position offers a remuneration of $11,824 per course.
Required profile
- Doctoral level study in Economics (completed PhD or PhD candidacy with comprehensive examinations)
- Evidence of highly effective teaching ability or superior communication skills
- Specialization closely aligned with the subject of Industrial Organization
- Experience as a teaching assistant for a related course (preferred)
