Course Lecturer – Education Resource Management (Fall 2026)

About the role

McGill University seeks a qualified Course Lecturer to teach EDEM 628 – Education Resource Management in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) for the Fall 2026 term. The course is delivered entirely online and focuses on managing human and financial resources in small educational organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver weekly online lectures (Thursday 5:35 pm‑8:25 pm) for a 3‑credit graduate course.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessment tools aligned with learning outcomes.
• Facilitate student engagement using myCourses, Zoom, and other digital platforms.
• Integrate equity, diversity, and inclusion principles into teaching practices.
• Provide timely feedback and support to graduate students.

Required profile

• PhD (or equivalent) in Educational Leadership or a related field; a Master’s with extensive relevant experience may be considered.
• Expert knowledge of educational resource management, including labour contracts, budgeting, grant writing, and volunteer coordination.
• Experience teaching graduate‑level courses and prior work as a school administrator, preferably within the Quebec education system.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with myCourses (McGill’s LMS).
• Experience using Zoom for synchronous online instruction.
• Familiarity with a range of digital teaching and learning tools.
