About the role
The Grader will support the instructional team by marking exams and assignments for the INDR 294 course. This temporary position runs from late August 2026 to mid‑January 2027 and offers an hourly rate of $16.60.
Key responsibilities
- Review and grade student examinations and written assignments according to established rubrics.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.
- Maintain accurate records of grades and submit them within required timelines.
- Collaborate with course instructors to ensure grading consistency.
Required profile
- Current enrollment or recent graduation in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to apply grading criteria objectively.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the academic environment.
Required skills
- Familiarity with the subject matter of INDR 294 (background knowledge is an asset).
