Corporate Services Coordinator (Marketing & Communications)

About the role

The Corporate Services Coordinator will plan, organize and coordinate marketing, sponsorship and communication activities for The Lookout Newspaper, a key component of the Personnel Support Programs. Working closely with the Corporate Services Manager and Events Coordinator, you will help shape the newspaper’s strategy and build strong community partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Lookout’s marketing and sponsorship strategy.
• Coordinate sales opportunities with local businesses and community organisations.
• Maintain and update databases, media kits and promotional materials.
• Negotiate agreements and contracts with corporate partners.
• Support event marketing, advertising campaigns and budget administration.
• Conduct market research and analyse findings to inform initiatives.

Required profile

• College diploma or certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Web Design, Graphic Arts or a related field.
• Several years of experience in marketing, sponsorship sales, event promotion or related areas.
• Valid BC driver’s licence.
• Strong client‑focus, communication, teamwork and leadership abilities.

• Website layout and design.
• Creation of web‑ready graphics.
• Desktop publishing.
